As aphotographer I search for images that show a mixed sense of beauty, quietness, tranquility and the power of nature. I try to record images in a way most people aren't used to seeing, such as the winter or summer scenes along Lake Michigan to the nystical clouds of Gatlinburg, tennessee. To me, the act of photogrpahing is about getting away for a moment and stepping into another time or place where we want to go rather than where wea re at the present. I like to capture a certain atmosphere or feeling with each image, so that it tells story.
