I’ve always felt a deep connection to the beauty of the Great Lakes region. Beaches and dunes, lighthouses and breakwaters, farms and orchards, forests and streams, small towns and big cities, the gentle touch of nature and heavy hand of industry—all provide an endless source of inspiration.
Though my subjects are diverse, my approach to each is constant. I’m drawn to rich colors and clean lines. My compositions are always simple, often almost abstract. I approach my subjects in a process that is quite meditative—at times sensing the final image long before I see it. A successful photograph feels like a gift, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share them with you.
