Metal

Even during my days as a factory welder, I was always thinking of what I would rather be doing—creating metal art. My process begins with a rough idea that I have been carrying around in my mind. I start with a sketch and then just start cutting the pieces of steel and copper to conform to my drawing. I use basic tools and torches to form and bend the metals. I began incorporating stone into my latest body of work and feel the possibilities are endless.
