I am a Michigan-born artist, currently living in Lapeer county. After taking numerous high school art classes, I earned a degree in Art Education from Eastern Michigan University. While teaching, I persued my own creative interests. In 1997, I discovered glass lampworking, where my focus has remained ever since. When I'm not making glass beads or showing my work, I have been teaching young artists at the Flint Institute of Arts Art School.
