Photography
I thoroughly enjoy three main aspects of photography: Composition, technical complexity, and the study of the subject. In composing a shot, I primarily focus on strong, repetitive, geographic shapes or a single overpowering color. I use the camera as a tool to achieve my end vision, and continue to experiment using the settings, lighting, and an array of professional lenses to achieve different results.
But it is what I put in front of the lens – the subject – that tells the story. I have begun traveling to countries such as the Dominican Republic and visiting remote areas to study their true culture and placing it on film for others to see and enjoy.
