Fiber
My handwoven throws are made unique by the myriad of fibers used, including lofty mohair, soft Persian wool, cotton, silk, linen and rayon. Rayon ribbon adds sheen, and Italian eyelash adds texture.
I am surrounded by shelves of yearn in a wonderful range of colors and textures in the studio where I create. But I also enjoy departing from my fuzzy fabrics occasionally to create dye painted cotton blankets.
