Unique porcelain shapes both cast (lamps, vases), and wheel thrown (bowls, goblets, etc.), are base colored and strategically accented with various under glazes and then bisque fired.
A clear glassy glaze is then applied and fired. Metallic luster over glazes are applied utilizing a wet-on-wet watercolor technique, which creates interesting design tension with the sharp edged geometric under glaze accenting beneath and then fired. The trim work is applied using 22K gold or platinum and then fired once more to finish the piece.
